TOPOGRAPHY
This is truly some fantastic and varied game habitat! The topography in this area is rolling with some gorgeous views and big hills.
The ranch is about 75% medium to heavy brush, with about 25% being senderos, clearings and food plots.
There are many drainages and draws throughout the property that serve as wildlife corridors and could be great lake sites.
Soils are mainly sandy loam, with some gravel hills and clay based soils in lower areas. About 1,200 acres is first class red sand mott country, perfect for hunting quail with dogs.
Much of the ranch is excellent for water retention and lake building. Four of the existing lakes have great fishing!!!
Brush species include guajillo, blackbrush, guayacan, granjeno, mesquite, hackberry, kidneywood, and other native South Texas species.
WILDLIFE

A 180 + B&C deer was killed by the current owners in 2012, and trophies in the 160 to 170 range are not uncommon.
